Autumn is a wonderful time of the year. For cold
days and nights shorter , this time-tested my grandmother recipe is on

1 teaspoon ground cloves
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Preheat
oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease a 13 x 9 inches. Put the water ,
brown sugar , eggless carrot cake raisins , butter , salt , cinnamon ,
nutmeg and cloves in a large saucepan. Bring the mixture to a boil for a
total of 3 minutes, then let the mixture cool. Set aside . In a small
bowl , combine flour , baking powder and baking soda eggless carrot
cake. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the cooled mixture . Pour
mixture into prepared pan. Bake at 350 ° for 20-25 minutes , until a
toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Do not overcook .
Lemon tart sauce (eggless carrot cake)
1/2 c . sugar
1 c . cornstarch (if desired thicker sauce , add another tablespoon ) .
Pinch of salt
1 c . boiling water
1/4 c . lemon juice
1 c . lemon zest ( to use a sweet sauce eggless carrot cake)
3 c . lemon juice
1 c .( lemon zest )
1 c . butter
In
a small saucepan eggless carrot cake, combine sugar, cornstarch and
salt. Gradually stir in water and lemon juice . Cook, stirring
constantly, until mixture thickens slightly. Remove from heat and add
the lemon zest and butter. Make 1 1/ 2 cups . Serve the cake man poor .
This sauce is also good on angel food cake and eggless carrot cake. |
